Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a lesson or using our services.

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Jeegoo Driving School ("we", "us", "our"), a DVSA-approved driving school operating in Southampton and surrounding areas (SO14–SO19).

2. Services

Jeegoo Driving School provides the following driving instruction services:

  • Beginner Lessons — hourly driving tuition for learner drivers in a DVSA-approved dual-control vehicle.
  • Automatic Lessons — tuition in an automatic transmission vehicle for learners who prefer or require an automatic car.
  • Bulk Package — a discounted block booking of 10 hours of driving tuition.
  • Refresher Lessons — tuition for licence holders who wish to refresh their driving skills.

All lessons are subject to instructor availability. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor where necessary, ensuring continuity of your training with a qualified ADI.

3. Booking

Lesson bookings may be made through our online booking form, by phone, or by email. A booking is confirmed only when you have received written or verbal confirmation from Jeegoo Driving School. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

When submitting a booking request online you must provide accurate and complete information. You must be at least 17 years of age (or 16 for a moped licence) and hold a valid provisional driving licence issued by the DVLA before your first lesson.

Bookings for the Bulk Package are non-transferable to a third party. Unused hours within a Bulk Package remain valid for 12 months from the date of first use.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and instructors.

  • Cancellations with 48 hours' or more notice — no charge. The lesson will be rescheduled or, in the case of a pre-paid lesson, a credit will be held against future bookings.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice — the full lesson fee is payable. This applies to cancellations, rescheduling requests, and no-shows.
  • Cancellations by Jeegoo Driving School — if we are required to cancel a confirmed lesson, you will receive a full refund or priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

Cancellation notice must be given by telephone or email to Jeegoodrivingschool@gmail.com. Cancellations via social media or third-party messaging apps are not accepted.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for individual lessons is due at the beginning of each lesson unless otherwise agreed. Bulk Package payments are due in full prior to the first lesson in the package.

Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, and other methods as notified by your instructor. We do not accept payment by cheque. All prices quoted include VAT where applicable.

Prices are subject to change. Any price increase will be communicated to existing students with a minimum of 4 weeks' notice and will not apply to pre-paid Bulk Packages.

6. Student Conduct

Students are expected to attend lessons in a fit state to drive — sober, alert, and free from any medical condition that would impair their ability to control a vehicle. If an instructor reasonably considers a student unfit to drive, the lesson may be terminated and the full lesson fee will remain payable.

Students must treat their instructor with courtesy and respect. Jeegoo Driving School reserves the right to terminate any agreement with a student who behaves in an abusive, threatening, or otherwise unacceptable manner.

7. Liability Disclaimer

All tuition vehicles are comprehensively insured and fitted with dual controls. Jeegoo Driving School and its instructors accept no liability for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury caused by the student's own actions during a lesson.
  • Delays in test readiness arising from a student's personal circumstances or attendance.
  • The outcome of any DVSA theory or practical driving test.
  • Any consequential loss (including loss of earnings or travel costs) resulting from a failed or delayed test.

Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict liability.

8. Website Use

This website and all its content are provided for general information purposes only. Jeegoo Driving School makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the information on this site. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the website at any time without notice.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

9. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using our services you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
