The DVSA average is around 45 hours of professional instruction. However, every learner is different — some students pass in 20 hours, others need 60. We'll give you an honest assessment after your first lesson and set realistic expectations.
Yes — you must hold a valid GB provisional driving licence before your first lesson. You must also be at least 17 years old. You can apply for your provisional licence at GOV.UK. We cannot take you on the road without it.
We cover Southampton and the surrounding areas — postcodes SO14 through SO19. If you're unsure whether we cover your specific postcode, contact us and we'll let you know within a few hours.
Absolutely. If for any reason you'd prefer a different instructor, just let us know and we'll make the switch at no extra cost. The right instructor-student relationship is crucial to learning, and we always put your progress first.
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be charged at 50% of the lesson rate. Emergencies are always considered on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. You can use the school dual-control car for your driving test. We'll also take you out for a pre-test lesson on the morning of the test to settle your nerves and warm up your skills on the local test routes.
The Bulk Package is best suited to learners who already have some driving experience. Complete beginners may benefit from a few standard lessons first to build a foundation in basic controls. Contact us and we'll advise on the best starting point for you.
